Endurance is such a broad term, but in our case we mean 5k to 10k runs, and every distance in between. And just so we are clear, these runs vary in many ways.

 

The ancient Greeks loved running and so do we. And our firm belief is that if you are not fast, you are slow. Which are you? 

To be successful you have to train, and with running it's nice to know the event. Our goal is provide a variety of interesting run courses ranging from flat 5km to 10k hill runs. Sometimes we'll throw a twist into the simplicity of running with 'challenges' at specific points along the course.

Some challenges may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Burpees 
  • Handstand walking
  • Sandbag ground to overhead for reps
  • Airsquats 

Prepare to run... uphill, downhill, on uneven terrain, on narrow sections... and prepare for plenty of beautiful scenery as you race to become legendary.Get out and test yourself or just enjoy a great run with great people.

Route details: This is a 4.98 mi Run in Whiting Ranch The Run has a total ascent of 741.47 ft and has a maximum elevation of 1,548.56 ft.  This is an out and back course.  Bring your water to carry.  There is a water station at the turn around point (2.49mi).  The course will be open so there might be other runners/ bikers out on the course.  The course is wide enough to support everyone.  Come out and challenge yours

Competition Type: 5k w/ 3 stations of CrossFit movements - Station 1- 15 Burpees/ Station 2- 30 pvc ohs/ Station 3- 60 double unders (must bring your rope).  Individual and 5 person team category (reps will be done as a team)

Pre-Registration is highly recommend.  This will generally be the day before the run.  Each registered competitor will receive final details via email as well as being posted here 1 week prior to the event date.

What happens at Pre-registration?

  • You will receive your goodie bags
  • Event t-shirt
  • Wave #
  • Specific route information
  • An opportunity to meet your fellow competitors

  • Race Day Check-In is required (45 mins – 1 hour before your start time)

  • Bibs will be picked up at this time or athlete number will be written on your forearm or calve
  • Timing chips will be distributed (if used).  Do not forget to return at the end of the event!
  •  

  • Plan ahead; arrive 45min-1hr prior to scheduled start time and use this time to warm-up and identify your start location.
  • Know the course; all details will be posted on the date specific event page prior to each event
  • Bring water and snacks
  • Leave all valuable items in the car or with someone you trust when you run. 
  • We recommend that you follow a thought-out training system that is tailored to your needs as an athlete.
